Homework, Term 2 2017
You MUST complete 1000 points or more on Mathletics each week.
You MUST read every week night.

You can choose to do ONE of these activities per week and hand it in on Friday.

Write the question first and then answer underneath.
 Make sure you answer fully with lots of detail.

1. Chose one of your favourite books you have read. Tell your teacher what happened. Write a new ending to this book.
2. Write your teacher a story. It must include the phrase “I have seen that before”.
3. If you could eat lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
4. What do you think you would be doing if school did not exist?
5. Help your parents make dinner. Tell us what you did to help and what you made.
6. Grandparents day is happening in week four. What do you like about your grandparents? What is one way we can show we appreciate them?
7. Invent a new toy. What is it? What does it do?
8. Write a song or rap about your favourite subject at school.
9. Talk with an adult about their time at school. Write what is different and similar from their schooling to yours.
10. Write about something your family does that is special to you. For example, a tradition or a family holiday.
11. If you could invent a planet what would it be like? What rules would you have? What job would you do? Draw a picture of your planet.
12. Think of something that is challenging for you. How could you overcome that challenge? What positive comments could you say to yourself?
13. Andy Griffiths asks you to create a new storey for his latest treehouse storey book. What happens on this new storey?
14. If you could go back in history, what century would you go to and why?
