- Chose one of your favourite books you have read. Tell your teacher what happened. Write a new ending to this book.
- Write your teacher a story. It must include the phrase “I have seen that before”.
- If you could eat lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
- What do you think you would be doing if school did not exist?
- Help your parents make dinner. Tell us what you did to help and what you made.
- Grandparents day is happening in week four. What do you like about your grandparents? What is one way we can show we appreciate them?
- Invent a new toy. What is it? What does it do?
- Write a song or rap about your favourite subject at school.
- Talk with an adult about their time at school. Write what is different and similar from their schooling to yours.
- Write about something your family does that is special to you. For example, a tradition or a family holiday.
- If you could invent a planet what would it be like? What rules would you have? What job would you do? Draw a picture of your planet.
- Think of something that is challenging for you. How could you overcome that challenge? What positive comments could you say to yourself?
- Andy Griffiths asks you to create a new storey for his latest treehouse storey book. What happens on this new storey?
- If you could go back in history, what century would you go to and why?
